Currently there's no way to add links in an idea. It would be nice to be able to do that.

This is a must! At least automatically link hyperlinks.

The editor toolbar icons (bold, italic, center, link etc.) do not work at the moment in Firefox 3.0.3.

There are some other issues related to HTML and hyperlinking - Comment SPAM. Automated BOTS can take over any forum if hyperlinking is enabled. While I understand that automatic hyperlinking has its benefits, the comment SPAM issue is huge. The alternative is to have a CAPTCHA process -- which brings another set of issues around usability.

It would be great if there were some indicator of the markup/syntax expected by the editor areas.

Also, please allow HTML in Comments. At least the standard tags (strong, em, a href).
