14

Vote On Idea

Is it possible to integrate a weighting system into the software - whereby I can weight the data to be representative relative to a lack of responses from particular demographics?

Comment by survey

I don't believe that this should be the focus of an online survey program. Its important to understand how your respondents differ from the general population, but weighting properly requires attention to all sorts of methodological issues specific to the data. But even if it were more trivial, why would an online survey program be an improved tool for analysis? These are tasks better suited for the desktop in an Excel spreadsheet or a statistical analysis software like SPSS. I think that there are still many issues with the function and presentation of the survey program that require more attention.
