When a spreadsheet has a restricted value for the sum of the row (e.g. a percent-of-effort distribution question with a constraint that each row must equal 100) then the current sum of the spreadsheet row should appear as a total at the right for user reference, similar to the way the constant sum vertical question works.

Currently a question is set to required by checking "Enable Validation (require response)". But use of field validation, such as sums totaling to 100, requires that the same "Enable Validation" option be selected. However you might want a question to, e.g., total to 100 when it is answered but not require that it be answered.

The "question required" option should be separate from and independent of the validation settings.

Currently the single-line question allows setting defaults for both checkboxes and radio buttons. The matrix question does not allow setting defaults. Add the ability to set default values to the matrix question.

Store the answer data for drop-down questions separate from the question so that it can be used in more than one question. For example, an employee list could be used as the drop-down data for the questions "Who are you?" and "Who is your supervisor?". Currently the selections for the drop down must be cut/pasted into each of the questions individually - and then maintained in each of the questions individually. Provide the ability to store and maintain this data in a central object that can be referenced by any number of questions.

Agreed - lack of a Back button frustrates end users. This is made worse by the requirement that conditional logic start on a new page - once the user gets to the point where he sees the effect of his previous choices he can't go back and change them.

I had to use custom1 and custom1 to duplicate the first name and last name information. It seems you cannot access that information in the survey.

I would also suggest that the Other text box be offset down and to the right from the main question to avoid confusion when, e.g. a drop-down provides the primary source but the Other box is right next to the drop-down - makes it look as if the user has to use the drop-down and also the text box.
