While matrix questions are nice, letting respondents input their own answers greatly increases error. It would be nice to let them select from a list of responses for each element of the matrix.
I suggest that you add a single dimension matrix.
The survey designer at our company likes the appearance of the side-by-matrix for her 10 point scales (aside from the floating question number that cannot be removed), particularly the ability to specify the headers over the points, and would like to be able to use it for one dimensional questions.
It would be great if the constant sum function can be used in matrix type question.

I would like the ability to sort (non Likert Scale) matrix columns. In today's surveys, many are taking on mobile devices. In matrix questions with more than 4 columns some columns may be off the screen on smaller screens.
